- Kim Lear
Kim Lear is a writer, e-publisher and campaign strategist. Much of my writing/campaigning philosophy comes from the work I’ve done in the non-profit sector. Non-profit budgets are low and their needs are high, so it is critical that you make the right ask, to the right person, at the right time. The same is true in business, politics and even friendship. I write to connect people, to build relationships, to create opportunities and I write because I can’t not write. http://klear.wordpress.com/

Cascadia Retreats co-founder, Barbara Karmazyn, will once again be leading a program at the Naramata Centre this summer.
A Taste of the Arts – Sharing Your Creative Spirit
It is described as follows:
Discover new ways of creating community through the magic of creative self-expression. This program offers a chance to taste several expressive arts: discover your own rhythm with drums and percussion, experience the joy of community harmony, experiment with art materials together, dance, and tap into the richness of your imagination to bring a story to life with props and costumes! Emphasis is on the playful and joyful aspect of the creative process. No previous experience necessary!
(This program is full, but they are collecting names for a wait list)
